I have an invite but I haven't tried it out yet. It seems like a lot of work to remake all the contacts I have on facebook and switch over.
Wow ... it's been a really long time.
Cool. Stay on Facebook.
G+ is extremely impressive and I think it has the capacity to reshape the way people communicate with each other, especially with things like the Hangout feature that allow impromptu free video conferencing and the integration with youtube, and what not.
I dont want to oversell it, but it is very cool.
Legendary Hero
That is one beast spambot. It just keeps posting, and posting. heh
There's browser addons that make the transition in a few clicks and export all your friends. Look in chrome extensions.
And like everything google i think its the best by far, at least there transparent about how they make money off you, there privacy policy is also more geared toward our privacy vs facebooks gearing towards there rights to own everything you put on there servers.
Just look at what google does for developers every were, everything google has free well documented API's and such, They release 1000's of lines of code to the free development community, they provide free hosting to "freeware/opensource" developers, they have had a developer based "networking" sites for ages. How does all this seemingly unrelated "stuff" have any impact on you and G+?
It means we developers can mod all things google in ways we "think" will make it better for you the individual, So G+ will be the upcoming "The way you want it" site imho, im already designing apps with its API, and have already connected the Skype and G+ API's
End of the day, its each individuals choice, but its another thumbs up from me to the google team... now whens Evony joining the G+ revolution?
I have the hope that this is something we will see very little of of course nothing against Regen Mercantile or whoever is in current charge. Ads are unavoidable but I never saw an ad for Evony on Google (I believe), and I'd like to see a + that does not have companies interacting with normal users as normal users. On the side or above or below sure fine put some ads there, but I don't want them sending me messages or requests.
I was referencing gifts ect...
Alot of people that spend the time to read Facebook's privacy policy are significantly apposed to it, im one of these people, G+'s privacy policy is no where near as bad, i would love being able to actually participate in the "extra's" Social Networking provide for AgeII in the comfort and saftey of G+![]()
