    You know Dom, maybe it does compared to A1.
    Maybe the A2 battle mechanics do indeed favor the attacker overall. But you know what breaks all battle mechanics and renders them useless and thus swings the favor 99% to the defenders favor and in most cases the majority of player owned high level HC's?? Account sharing.
    Account sharing renders a city uncapturable.
    1. keep the loyalty above zero 24x7
    2. building 1 trap, abatis or DT every few seconds
    3. opening/closing gates 24x7
    4. ability to apply strategems 24x7 on attackers and stack them indefinetly
    5. players packing 50+ million troops in their HC.

    So although the mechanics may indeed favor the attackers, things need to change so that whether or not an account is shared, sharing the account will provide little to no advantage.

    I totally agree that something must be changed regarding that

    Even though account sharing is hard to attack. And i dont have any good ideas on how.

    I personally belive that the optimal angel to attack it from, is to change the 24/7 comfort situation. So that no matter if someone is on the account. If he cant defend his city, he lose it

    That would at least solve number 1 and 3. that i belive are the actual problems.
    for 2. Altering starting range ( in your case as building traps) is a necessary defensive move the defender need in order to not get totally overrun

    as for 4, this one got solved mostly after they put in the cooldown on ambush. And besiege is so costly that they can only save themselves for a limited amount of time with it

    5. can become a problem when you can no longer properly layer your waves due to overlay/overflow/split-damage rule.[example] : Removing the technical possibility of cataphracts ever reaching archers. No matter if all other conditions are "correct" for it.

    on server 20+ HC and regualr cites can fall there is are just too many targets so a concentrated effort on all regular and HC means the account sharecropers will fail on one of them true u must cordnate an allience wide attack and realisticlly the coiners will have to buy the non coiners tels so u have full participation but cites do fall particularly on server 20+. and server 1-19 they fall just nto very often particularly 14+

    back on topic on a mature server most every one who wants a level 12 HC can have a level 12 and from there u can send 157k. Waves true a king or queen can do 110 leadership but a modest HH 180 leadership is nice for attacks from your 12 with war ensign. I under stand that you(japanpimp) don't hold HC 12 the free warrior drafts 125k rally is not worth the lack of porting or risk of loss but u could get a 12 if you wanted u probably could get 9 if you wanted. I get your point but for me i play with the free drafts there are funny things u can do with 1million warriors free a day. I very much disagree with the statistic that 90% of age 2 players dont do HC. that is true for 16s where u can send out waves of 250k and for that you need the best HH that have 245 leadership but a solid majority of players who have been around have a 12 there are 2000 12s on the server for crying out loud. every on
