    Thread should be labeled...

"" How to beat a bot ONLY if the bot user is not familiar with the ability of the bot they're using""

    My point...

No matter how many methods you deploy to beat a bot user, the bot user will create a solution to your methods.
the only true method to eliminating bots/macros are to fix the servers hosting the game and perhaps create a warden, something to scan a specific version that is released daily; Simple command line that creates a version with a variable.

Why not do versions check? I mean it isn't hard at all; literally 3 days work at most and that is giving MORE than enough time. Version checker is when the server scans your flash browser to check the current version of the game. Let?s say Evony listened to smart people for once and added this technique.
When you log on to the game you will get a "Firmware number/version".
(Example: 091103_11 is static and can't change unless they update the source of the game.) So calling for a Var=1,Var=21 or put in an array. Doing this can create a non-static checker and updater that adds the Var to the end of the version, allowing you to COMPLETELY eliminate the bot because the user would have to recompile their version with the version Evony is using BECAUSE...

    WAIT FOR IT...

The variable changes randomly when a user logs into the game, which means the server SETS the variable, then checks to see if the browser is running that current version and if it doesn't match the variable the server RANDOMLY set for the day (or whatever time scale you gave it before changing) then it resets browser so it can refresh and try setting the version to the servers current version.
If the version doesn't match then you don't log on!

Now where do I pick up my paycheck!?
