What these so-called "benign" hackers do not realize is, though their intention may be harmless, and sometimes what they do is really funny, they are in fact inventing the tools that the real serious criminals can copy and use to create real havoc. The law of unintended consequences will be in play soon, I am afraid. Real terrorists may be looking over the shoulders of these 16-year-old harmless geeks.

LOL, they are angry because the government lies. LOL
Well, welcome to adulthood and complicated matters. In order to maintain peace, balance, etc... lying is necessary at times. Everything cannot be an open book. C'mon.
Like Jack Nicholson said "You can't handle the truth!!"
    And that real talk....
You know how hard some people react when they discover a lie? Now imagine how hard they would react if they discovered the truth....

It's fine and dandy when Anon sticks it to the man, and goes after corrupt/oppressive governments/corporations and all, but I think when they do things like publicly release private account information of tons of customers/random people that have nothing to do with the feud, they lose their distinguished status as justice fighters or whatever and become just another unneeded problem in the world.

They can say, "don't blame us for releasing the information, blame XXX for giving us the opportunity to hack them for it", but that's like saying we shouldn't blame Osama or al-Qaeda for 9-11, because they were only taking advantage of an opportunity the US opened for them, amongst other examples. I don't think that logic really works.

If you don't like the consequences of an action, don't do it. Take the high ground and leave the self-denial finger-pointing to those who deserve the ridicule and scorn for it.
    It's all Rodri's fault.

Anon didn't hack PSN -they DDOSed sony's websites a few days earlier before the announcement of the leakage- and thus did not release the information.

I think LulzSec took credit for it. Whether they're part of Anon or not, my statement was more towards anonymous hackers in general rather than Anonymous itself.

I know there's different groups that all do their own things and all, but come on; when you fight the power, don't purposely step on the little guys in the process. That's just not cool.
