Yes and I agree with you in the sense that not all those that are accused commit the crime. But isnt the following the main arguments considering the value of the death penalty? That being saving some money and setting an example to deter future offenders? So should we care if a couple innocent get killed here or there? The money is saved and the example is set after all ...

I don't think I've ever been so turned on before.

First and foremost, in the hands of a government money is never saved.

Second, are you serious? Are you trying to justify murder here?

Lucas, arguing for the death penalty is not a wise position to take.

    It doesn't deter crime.
    Innocents are killed.
It costs a sh!t-ton of money to put them down.

and then there is the: 'Um like, murder is....wrong and two wrongs don't make a right' argument.

It doesn't have to cost a ton of money. Once they are found guilty send them to prison and don't give them food or water (that saves money). Then have other prisoners clean up the dead body.

    Problem solved cheap death penalty.

It doesn't work like that, it will never work like that, and thinking like that is just childish and ignorant.

...They would have 5ish days for appeals or however long it takes to die. It saves the government money which is good and the murder will never have a chance to murder again. Win win situation.
