Thread: Age1 vs Age2

    Age I>Age II


    Take away Facebook and half of Age II will be unable to do anything.

    Take away colonization and half of Age II will have half their troop count.

    Take away no refuge and add in normal upkeep and most of Age II won't know where their army went. They also won't know how to farm.

    Take away HCs and HHs and most of Age II won't know how to war without policies.


    What about Age I?

    Add hero limits and the players will simply have to wait.

    Remove refuge and halve upkeep...well it simply won't be fair to Age II then


    Age I will certainly defeat Age II if they were forced to change. I'm not sure how a hybrid will work though.

    personally i used to play age1 , i moved to age2 simply because there is no refuge.

    now.....remove fb, it makes no difference

    take away colonization, it makes no difference

    take away no refuge, i know how to farm but i would quit because i have a life.

    take away HC's and HH's, makes no difference to what someone knows about how to attack.

    now add bots and age2 will be on par with age1

    Facebook really have a little impact on age 2 except giving all players penicillin and half food upkeep. This doesnt really change much except levling the playing field between the so called "coiners, and non-coiners". with both having penicillin. And the food upkeep reduce the farming requirement, good thing imo

    I dont see how colonization can have any impact on troop coutns what so ever. Could you please fill me in on this ?

    Take away no refuge and implement and add normal upkeep, and evony is about who can farm the most. It would probably turn into a game where alot of people quit, and the ones who stay need "extra help" in order to keep enough food, sounds familiar ?

    I dont know what you missunderstand about age 2, but when i fight, it doesnt include HHs, and it doesnt include HCs, unless im attacking them.
    Funny how people can complain about age 2 being simplified. When they only ADDED more rules to the mechanics compared to age 1. making it more complex

    You seem to talk about a game you dont know much about
