Frankly, after the 8 hours of downtime we had today, I for one am looking forward to Free Food Friday. If only because it means that maybe. Just maybe. My army won't starve to death. Now hopefully we get some comp for the 8 hour downtime.. my troops could've used the food I would have farmed today. And hopefully something better than more food (though given as how I's behind on my farming I wouldn't complain if it was more food
)

Would love to see an actual "Item" with 100% free food in Evony's future. Right now we have Vesta's, and the occasional free food day, but no actual item to have a free food day at our own convenience. Even if its not a purchasable item, offer it in a compensation-style chest. I would rather have this type of item then the minor res packages, ect.
