Its usually a good indictation that when an alliance does cap Atlantis that they are most likely the best. Yes alliances can team up on them to try to take it, but that doesnt happen very often.
Just curious, on how many servers have alliances made a big attempt on Atlantis? And how did it end? Did the person holding Atlantis fight? Speech Text? Comfort?
If you have a server in which you have seen this happen, please share the results.
Well a little update on news on 29. Kitty lost Atlantis.
I am not confirming anything so this is just a rumor. But i guess one of the original kitties sold their account and didnt tell anyone. Then they got Atlantis and left the alliance to Immortal. This is just what i have heard.

The slow loyalty drop, once it's below 16, should be removed for historics, that would make for some exciting mass-assaults.
That could be good if they drop the amount of time by like 15-30 minutes it takes. I dont think they should take it out completely since that would mean that you could go take a shower and lose a 14. I would hate knowing that i have to be on at all points of the day to not lose a city
Usually the strongest alliances cap atlantis first. Meaning that for it to be lost in pvp, the 2nd strongest must somehow become stronger then the strongest. or diplomacy must change drasticly on the server
I think that is actually the major reason for why we dont see atlantis move much around.
If you combine that with all the servers that run super big alliances with tons of sisters etc as well. Means we most likely wont see alliance change much hands.
In the cases where atlantis have been npced, i belive thats due to changes in diplomacy on that server
And well, then you have the comfort issue over at NA1 ( been awhile since we heard any updates here) oh, and just a sidenote there JP. from the reports i recall khans posted, they cleared out "Millions of troops" from the city . (someone from na1 please confirm or correct. my knowledge of that server is limited after all)
Do something with comfort, and HCs will change hands more often
Try to not gang up with big coaliations. And keep several groups fighting each other. Avvoiding one big dominant alliance, and we might see atlantis change hands more often
I agree with you on the point that the comforting system needs to change. Either by putting a limit of times it can used in a day or by increasing the duration of time it could be used (From 15 minutes to something longer). Heck even if they changed it so that you cant use the same comfort more than once would help as long they changed the duration of time it can be used. For example, if you used disaster relief you would have to use praying the next time and instead it being able to do it every 15 minutes it changes to 30. It wouldnt just give the HC away, but it would help make the system a little more fair towards the attacker.
Change comforting time to 1hr instead of 15mins
1hr is enough time to save the city indefinitely.
But attackers now have 12mins to cap the city at minimum, instead of 1hr 12mins minimum as the best chance they'll ever get
a lot can happen in 12-15mins that the defender cannot comfort.. and that's what will make the game a hella more exciting than it is now![]()
