I'm not sure how you come to that conclusion. I believe just the opposite. If you eliminate botting, then people with large armies will need to multiaccount MORE in order to sustain their armies.
Or, more to the point... let's say a player can actually play evony 3 to 4 hours a day. He bots 24/7 farming for food for his army. Now he can't bot. What's he going to do w/ that 3-4 hours?
a. downgrade his army size to what his one account can farm, or
b. increase the number of his alts so he can send out that many more farming waves within a 3-to-4-hour period.
Sorry, I don't see option (a) happening, although, from previous comments by Evony reps over the years in this forum, that's exactly what Evony believes will happen. A senior Evony executive one stated that Evony never intended people to have army sizes which currently exist.
There are plenty of socks proxies out there to aid in hiding multiple IP connections from a single source IP, so for the truly motivated and technical savvy, multiaccounting will not be a significant risk.
