Happened to me for the last week, i thought it was something to do with my computer so after the 3rd day of it happening 1 got my friend who lives over the road to login for me as i was curious (she doesnt play on my server so no breach of t&s) she had no problems getting on at all i still couldnt log in for another hour
SS37 is occassionally happens to me, not daily but every so often it will just lag (spinny clock) and then go back to the loading page and pop up with the network connection error like it does with maintenance. Normally only for about 5-10minutes but it's still a nuisance.

This is not a lag issue. Its pretty much kicking you off the game and when you try logging back you get the message that server/website does not exists. It happens a lot and sometime it takes 5 to 10 minutes to get back in, sometimes it can take from half an hour to an hour.
Whatever it is, it has nothing to do with us but with evony. And its annoying as hell!
The servers are still online during this time. I'll poke around about any connection issues.

Let me reiterate:
If the San Diego data center is NETWORK UNREACHABLE what WILL happen is the following:
1) All players on all San Diego hosted servers will be knocked offline.
2) Login services for ALL customers on ALL servers will be down.
3) Players on all Issaquah, Washington, hosted servers will remain online, but will be affected by item 2 should they refresh or get knocked offline for some other reason.
Yes, your servers may still be "up" and you might be able to access them on the LAN / Private WAN, but if nobody connecting through a border router over the internet can get to them, for all intents and purposes, they are "down". That's what happened back in June, where you gave us the downtime compensation package.
What I saw the other day, and what I believe these people are talking about, is the TEMPORARY unreachability of the San Diego equipment on a NETWORK level. I'm sure the servers were "up" the whole time, based on your definition.
Relay the tracert data that I posted to M5 Hosting or to your IT liason that deals with M5.

ss50 cannot be logged in now...i got booted off from it.
I am farming 10s and has launch a few attacks out,and i dont think i can heal as i am going offline soon...its been the last 20 mins that ss50 cannot be logged in.
I have been getting it about twice a day for two weeks now, as well. I reboot everything, clear caches, all the things the canned response says to do, and it still takes between 1-3 hours to get back on. Meanwhile, my alliance mates are on and attacking or watching me be attacked, as the case may be. I have even gone to other locations/computers and still can't get on.-
