I asked a few (older) persons who use IE, why don't you switch to another browser?
Answer was, they were all too used to IE (which comes pre-installed on windows machines) to change.

Personally? I used IE, firefox, chrome, opera and safari. Each one using a different proxy so I can bypass download websites "Download Limit Reached!"/"Your IP is already downloading a file.." messages.
My favorite, however, is definitely Firefox (loaded with a good amount of add-ons, such as greasemonkey, stylish & others to make the interface look sleek & more modern [no title bar, for example]).
