Let's face it, this game is a business and the developers created it to make money. Instead of driving your customers away because the game is too demanding, adapt your game to suit the lives of customer. I will tell you right now, I would come back to Evony if I was able to queue up my farming needs for my armies. I know I am not alone in this. I never used a bot and didn't really care if others did. For me it was pride in knowing that I could run with the botters without using a bot. What got frustrating was I was spending 14-18 hours a day on Evony to farm, botters were spending half that or less and still out producing me even during my prime of hitting over 100 lv10 npcs a day.
No one plays the game the way it was designed to be played. Armies weren't meant to be as big as they are and heroes were never supposed to reach the stats they are at. Since the game has progressed in such a way that these large numbers are now the norm, it only seems fitting that Evony progresses their game to match. By doing this, you keep customers and generate more revenue. Heck, you may even free up enough time to get more people playing multi-servers and generate more revenue off of the same player.
Think about this from a business sense Evony, evolve your software with the new times and watch your profits rise. Please the people and it will pay off in the end.
