Ok Evony, since you are testing this captcha feature to and clearly the feedback is negative. Why not give us an Amulet everytime we have to enter the captcha instead of 10k res. Maybe we would complain less.

I just tried to go to another server and play and entered the captchas 6 freaking times.. none were correct ... couldnt get past entering a state even... so stupid!!
Then my theory about the login captchas being the more difficult ones still holds up. If that is the case, then it would explain why there's monumental frustration about logging in and the discussion about color-blindness that Thantium insulted people with (I'd have been insulted if I was color-blind too).
So, the questions now:
- Is it the previously implemented captcha for the new account creation that's being sent for the Login captcha?
- If not, is it supposed to be the multi-colored lines like the one shown a few posts ago?
- If so, what in the world was the refuting / mocking of the color-blind argument about?
That happened long before this process was put in place. That happens when all states are full due to either another cheating thing, flat-filling, or a non-functioning inactive / NPC purge (SS50 had this issue for months, and may still have the issue).
Which server did you try? I'll try the same one and see what I get....

I think it's pretty clear that Evony made the decision months ago to implement captchas, and they have little interest in what the user community has to say about it, other than feedback reports to work the "bugs" out.
Not to mention they'd be (even moreso) the laughing stock of the online gaming industry.
if that's true, then there is a real easy solution to the botting issue w/o the need of captchas... simply ban anyone who sends more than 10 commands per minute to the server. End of problem.

Why does a bot have to log in every 20 minutes? Why can't it just sit there and work 24-7?
Perhaps, but most people when first starting out don't understand the level of disparity between people who coin and people who don't. I've played with people on latter A1 servers who drop hundreds, if not thousands, of dollars the first week a server opens. Suffice to say, they're the ones with the instant-warrior heros two weeks into the game.
Pot, meet kettle, IMO.Perhaps before you tell someone else off about not understanding bots, you should research them yourself. Clearly it is YOU who knows nothing of the topic on which he is commenting.
