No, it does not, because my moral compass does not find direction in life that way.
Consider the same argument from the point of view of a stock investor. If they have invested a lot of money into the stock and suddenly find themselves without much money because the stock lost its' value, the choice is to accept the loss and claim it as a short or long-term loss on their taxes, or steal money to recoup the losses, making the most of their previously invested money.Consider the same argument from the point of view of botters. If they have invested a lot of money into the game and suddenly find themselves without the time to farm, the choice is give up on their investment and quit because they haven't the time, or bot and make the most of their previously invested time and money by using one.
I understand that, having put a lot of time in myself. I just think the pro-botters should attempt to understand that we live in a world that is supposed to be governed by rules, and if people are allowed to break the rules because it is convenient for them, the game becomes less enjoyable for those of us who do not break the rules, and there'd be a lot less hatred flying around these forums.I understand that, having put a lot of time in myself. I just think the anti-botters should attempt to at least try and think it through before they run their mouths off all the time, the game would be a more enjoyable place for everyone, and there'd be a lot less hatred flying around these forums.
