    I've given someone 70 million honor on my own before using approx 1.3-1.5 million phracts + 600-700k cavs. I've bowled over people most of the time when doing that, but yes, you can "defend" against it, but it drives the honor through the roof, crippling your heal rate.

    Yes, the food cost for that was extremely high, but I busted my butt to do it, without using the excuse that I "didn't have time" or any of the other excuses being presented here for resorting to using a bot.

    It may make little sense to you, but to those of us who play the game and are in alliances, the ability to read back to what was happening in the alliance a number of minutes or even hours ago is important. As a leader in an alliance it is even more important, especially when people whisper you when you're not at your PC.

    Thantium, do you actually play the game actively, or are you solely involved in support and development?

    I already said that, his response was that you don't get logged out, which is probably untrue, as someone else said you will be.


    And well, do any of the Evony staff have a serious account? No, they don't, pretty obviously.

    You should probably get your facts straight.... I know of at least 1 bot that already has a work around. Evony can't win this battle. Anything they code can be uncoded. It's a battle neither side can truelly win.

    If a person doesn't have the time then don't play. If your worried about having time to socialize, then go to a social chat. So why bother playing a war strategy game. Just stay on facebook or some other social network and socialize.

    The amount of dead accounts on servers, in comparison to those that likely bot is disproportionately larger, showing that botters have an adverse affect on the game. Which is a huge loss in revenue for Evony. Each of those dead accounts is a dissatisfy customer that became disenfranchised by the blatant cheating. Thus a loss to Evony as potential paying customers.

    Some of the extra prompting is being driven by letters that are difficult to read. "Some" might be "much", or even "most", depending on how difficult the letters are to read and how attentive the person typing is truly being when they're looking at the captcha. The company seems to be presenting their side of the story that the images that are difficult to read are few in number, but that doesn't seem to jive with the various images that people are posting.

    If the images were a bit easier to read and there was a refresh / get new image functionality, my feeling is that it would cut down on the anger by also increasing the amount of time between popups. Murphy's Law would still exist, but the real odds of it significantly interfering with gameplay at critical moments decreases with decreasing frequency of the popups happening.

    Bob's "workaround" is a pop-up that displays when a captcha is encountered.

    A person is still required to be there to type in the captcha.

    Defeating the purpose of botting in the first place

    Sorry couldnt resist.

    10k pults 15k ballis + millions of scouts, full walls, 5k range is killed by:

    1 wave of: 99k phracts, 900 cavs, 10 souts w/ 400 atk hero.
    1 wave of: 95k archers + infantry layers w/ 200 atk hero

    Provided all the layers are cleared beforehand (hint: mini mech)

    Wave 1 kills all the mechs + some scouts.
    Wave 2 breaks all the scouts left + walls

    Cheers for a good idea. Make em a lil easier to read, add an audio thing for people who are disabled in some way and move on. Making it too hard to read will only backfire and hurt legit users
