Of course the defending hero didn't change, but The attacking hero did, as it would in an actual situation. If you land those attacks, even with scouts between, you more than likely wouldn't use the same hero, as you may well have present them, and just scouted in the middle. I think this is cheaper than cush's method, and it's just as effective. The rams are very important, mostly taking out the layers, and slowing down the CD. After that the Cataphracts take out the rest of the Pikes/Swords, and, well the two mech waves speak for themselves.
I came up with the waves, and then put them into Evocalc, tweaking them a bit for the heroes.
