    Default Your stance on spying

Yea or Nae? You decide. Back up your points with something besides "underhanded, shallow, pointless, dishonorable, etc." because that's ridiculous. I want a discussion. Not a whaaaambulance.

    Points to consider-

    1. It's warfare. What's the difference in attacking with troop?
    2. It's diplomacy. What's the difference in declaring war?
    3. It happens regardless. Why stop it?

i just think that if you need coords, or to find out what they have for troops. then you should do this the right way, and waiste your own time doing this. i feel like there shouldnt be free entering and leaving of alliances because this can allow spys to just come in and out as they please

I don't see much point in you creating a whole new thread for this, when people are talking about exactly the same stuff in your other thread.

    This thread is revolting.

People should have to use strategy to figure out when someones online, plus then theres the whole thing of alliances sending spam at the person if they cant break there scouts to find out whats in the city that way.

Spying at the moment is pretty much exploiting the game. Now if evony actually went out there and implemented some kind of spying system then maybe I could agree with it, still at the end of the day why spoil the fun by attacking someone when there offline and you've already determinate what to send at them without a scout report

    p.s

    underhanded, shallow, pointless, dishonorable, etc

Even in Real Life Spies usually get looked down upon. Even snipers are looked at as cowards who "hide" and fight. But these types of roles are important. Spies, snipers, informants, they all have a purpose and can be very powerful in certain situations. Thing is, spies and informants work 24x7x365.. not only during war time. They are always working. In times of peace and in times of war.

Question jdm, and JP too. Would you consider it going too far if you were to get to presbyter as spy and expel all members?

The majority of spies are not well used. I say go for it, as it's just another bracket in which you may beat your opponent. Shame on them for not being more intelligent!
