Default what's the difference between a world and a server?

    Title says it all.

Logged in today and saw there were a number of worlds in addition the many servers.

Anyone know what the difference is?

    Thanks.

There are a number of threads already devoted to this question, please use the search function. Also this belongs in the Help & Questions forum not general.

To answer you anyway (I'm bad at reinforcing positive behaviors) there is no difference currently.

    Enjoy.

The difference is World Servers are multi language.

I believe that's false, as I logged on to one of the "World" servers and still saw the "The official language of World 3 is English" message up top.

Indeed, that's why I said "as yet there's no difference", because they have not changed anything about them. They may be PLANNING to make the world server global (you can see they added a little clicky button for En / Fr / Esp / etc.) but for now they all share the same codebase to the T. Including the server messages (This is Server XYZ. This Server is English only)

I know you said that. The guy I responded to clearly didn't read what you posted, which is why I replied directly to him, indicated by the fact that I quoted HIS post, not yours.

I'm never one to say the Evony team has an overabundance of competence, but World is clearly a distinctive difference. regular servers have been added since the World servers were added.

So they probably just made them, and forgot to implement the changes.
