Actually, modern technology now allows that you be made into a gem of your choosing. They cremate your remains and compress the carbon within into gems!
I'm not sure whether or not they can make you into a diamond.. But yeah.. There really is a literal meaning behind family jewels these days


Personally, the thought of turning back into a life force such as water is fascinating to me. The thought of recycling our bodies to replenish the earth is spiritual and neat. Of course, I guess the same goes for being buried in dirt, so long as you leave out the concrete coffin. Death takes going green to a whole new level o.o


I'm not sure which way i'd like my body to be dealt with.. Hopefully I've got a while to decide. =)
