Thread: Question regarding Master/Ultimate Guidelines

    Default Question regarding Master/Ultimate Guidelines

So I became a member of the 'paying' crowd this morning.

I was thinking of spending my cents on either Master or Ultimate guidelines, but can't decide which to go for.

Ultimate Guidelines is a 30% reduction in research time, can you apply more than one? say I buy 2, will that be a 60% reduction?

Master Guidelines is a 10-30 hour reduction in research time, but how do I know what I will get? I would be ****ed if I bought a heap of these and got 10 hour reduction each time. Is the reduction dependent on the initial research time? Is it a random chance between 10 and 30 hours?

    Any help appreciated.

If you use two ultimate guidelines, the time would be reduced by 30% each time you use it. Not exactly 60%. Example would be if you used it on a 1h 40m exactly building time, you'd drop it to 1h 10m the first time you used it. The second one used would drop it to 49m. So technically, you'd get a 51% drop in time. It's not a stackable feature, the time is reduced from the remaining time you have left when you use it.

And yeah, I think master guidelines are random.

Thank you for that Sukasai, I didn't know if it was a percentage of initial build time or time remaining. I think to be on the safe side I will get 2 of those, and hammer them both on my arch 10 as soon as it starts.

I am so tempted to just get 60 amulets and have a 'wheely' good time!!

Buy 2 Guidelines then have a good time.
