    LOL on servers that are over a year old people will have a 100 million warriors many people play with all HC even if they are a non coiner and just have 12's they get 720k warriors a day and they are not useful for attack except honor dumping so u build them up for defenses and they pile up colonizing people and putting my suppression on 0 except for warriors was a great way to use them. but as JP shows if u draft 700k warriors a day and do a fair amount of honor dumping you will have 100-200m warriors in a year or so I think most age 2 servers as old as NA 13 are dead so you have few players who have been drafting with 9 cities for a year. it still takes 2-10 million archers to take out 20 million warriors in a back door the difference depends o the attackers star set and the attackers heal rate.

    Yes, and that is just a backdoor attack. Something this is a unintended style of play and Dave said it will be changed in the future. So if backdoor style attacks were fixed then clearing 200 million warriors by outright attacking a HC in PvP would cost 10x more troops than a backdoor.

    Troop cap Dawn, troop cap.... Age 2 needs it. I know Evony has asid "We will not cap troops" but businesses need to change. It's all about change. Change is good. Sticking to "design concepts" that are 5 years old, bad.

    just because certain servers are dead it does not mean the game should be changed in such a way where troop numbers are limited. what about the servers that are very much alive and have people fighting battles and losing troops all the time?

    if i have a cap on my troops and go against a skilled defender i could easily run out of troops trying to attack him and thus leave my cities defenseless, the enemy would then move quickly to cap my cities. i see a cap on troops being a reason for people not to attack each other. maybe it would be different on colonize only servers but only to the point where you cant lose regular cities, and with most people only having HC's it in affect makes it the same as attack servers.

    people like to have troops to attack people with, troops to defend their cities and a big overflow of troops for back up when they come up against a skilled defender/attacker.

    yep amen gamble JP their are real concerns about how competitive the game is as servers get older. But their are a great many flaws in the game that make it not to competitive that are not as controversial as troop caps.
    1 some change to the speech texting account sharing/sitting issue make it so the only way to get a text is by shelling out bucks would solve most of the competitive issues. really it would all the other thing the price of stars the massive numbers that people build up are ancillary. because as for the 15 sets most servers only have 0-3 tops with it as for massive troops most alliances have weaker members that need to be defended true LC the host of mass is bassically untakeable even if it was him verses the entire server but that is only 1 guy i am can be taken out because i use my troops to fight.
