    Default The Benefits of Lag

The developers of games such as these spend countless hours trying to develop a game that will slowly but surely suck us in to the point of what can only be considered addiction. I mean really take a look at how they all work. A slow build up of the time it requires to be able to play at a competitive level. That is not the only thing, but it is prolly the most pronounced.

Two years ago if anyone were to tell me that I would still be playing this game and spending upwards of 18-20 hours a day on it just to ensure that I would be a top tier player ... I would have told them they were nuts.

So this is how I am starting to look at lag.....

Every time that the lag hits bad, like it has been every single night....to the point of making the game totally unplayable...i simply go find a different game and play it for awhile. So what is slowly happening, is I am able to slowly wean myself off of this godforsaken game.

So dear Evony gods, for this I must thank you. Keep it up like this and in no time at all I will totally free of this game...hopefully onto game that lets me have a life outside of itself.

The art of war is simple enough. Find out where your enemy is. Get at him as soon as you can. Strike him as hard as you can, and keep moving on.

    I don't know why
Keep making me laugh, Let's go get high
The road is long, we carry on
Try to have fun in the meantime

The above post was written in its entirety within the moments of a "lag" with plenty of time to spare afterwards to read the rest of the "new posts" on the forum as well.....
