Explaination: For a sound to be made. Sound WAVES (not the sound just the moving particles themselves) need to hit something to turn them into audible sound. Example an eardrum. Without an eardrum or something to pick up the sound, all that is created is moving particles.

Vaccuum's do not occur naturally on earth, therefore there is always some form of living flora/fauna to interpret the falling of a tree as a sound

The absence of a human does not detract from the fact that there is a sound perceived by another living organism

Therefore, the answer is "yes"

It's a very good excuse, thinking I grabbed a pen and paper for your riddle when it suddenly hit me the answer is probably F (february)
