    Default Spar's Chip Dip

I make this awesome chip dip...i wish i had good measurements but i usually guess...lol

1.5 pounds ground beef (leaner is better)
    1 can of re-fried beans
    16 oz. of Velveeta cheese
1 jar of pickled jalapeno peppers

1 bag of your favorite Dip Chips

    Directions.

You will need a big bowl....lol...large enough to hold all the food. Brown the ground beef place then place the cooked meat in the bottom of the bowl. Depending on how spicy you like your chip dip i place slices of jalapeno pepper on top of the ground beef. Warm the re-fried beans using the jalapeno juice to make it easier to stir. spread the re-fried beans on top of the ground beef.

Cube the 16 oz of cheese to make for easier melting. Pour more pepper juice in a medium pot on medium high heat. You will have to gauge how much juice to prevent the cheese from burning. Put the cubed cheese in the pot to start melting. You must continue to stir until completely melted. Once completely melted pour over the re-fried beans until completely covered.

No need, we use cups & teaspoons as cooking measurements still too. Almost any metric measuring item will still have cups/teaspoon amounts. Most cookbooks still state in those measurements too.... but thanks!

And for cooking Evonians, the always legendary:

    Christmas Cake Recipe

    Ingredients:
    1 cup of water
    1 tsp baking soda
    1 cup of sugar
    1 tsp salt
    1 cup of brown sugar
    lemon juice
    4 large eggs
    nuts
    bottle Vodka
    2 cups of dried fruit

    STEPS:
Sample the vodka to check quality.

Take a large bowl, check the vodka again.

To be sure it is of the highest quality, pour one level cup and drink.

    Repeat.

    Turn on the electric mixer.

Beat one cup of butter in a large fluffy bowl.

    Add one teaspoon of sugar.

    Beat again.

At this point it's best to make sure the vodka is shtill OK.

Try another cup ... just in case

    Turn off the mixerer.

Break 2 leggs and add to the bowl and chuck in the cup of dried fruit.

    Pick fruit off floor.

    Mix on the turner.

If the fried druit gets stuck in the beaterers pry it loose with a drewscriver.

Sample the vodka to check for tonsisticity.

Next, sift two cups of salt. Or something. Who giveshz a ****.

    Check the vodka.

    *hic*

Now shift the lemon juice and strain your nuts.

    Add one table.

Add a spoon of sugar, or somefink. Whatever you can find.

    Greash the oven.

Turn the cake tin 360 degrees and try not to fall over.

Don't forget to beat off the turner.

    *hic*

Finally, throw the bowl through the window, finish the vodka and kick the cat.

    CHERRY MISTMAS!

Okay, don't know why people love this so much, but my Taco dip is something I can't attend a party anymore without making lol (very fattening too and feeds like 10 people)

    Abstract's Taco Dip

    Ingredients:

    2 Packages of Taco Seasoning
    2lbs of Ground Beef
    4 Blocks of Cream Chese
    2 Tubs of Sour cream
    1 Brick of Cheddar Cheese
2 Bags of Tortilla Chips - Your preference

    Preparation:

    1. Make sure the cream cheese is softened before you start
    2. Grate the brick of cheddar cheese
    3. Set your oven to broil
    4. Cook the ground beef, using 1 package of the taco seasoning
    5. In a separate bowl, blend 1 package of seasoning, the sour cream and the cream cheese in a bowl
    6. Take the mixture, and place it at the bottom of a glass pan (I usually use a standard 8X12)
    7. Take the ground beef and place it on top of the mixture (once cooked)
    8. Sprinkle the cheese on top of the ground beef and put in the oven

Watch carefully, the mixture should be completed within 5 minutes (if you're going to a party, mix it altogether and broil it when you get there)

    Take it out, and voila!

    Compliments of the wonderful Warsimi!

    Default Poor Man's Beef Stroganof

1 to 2 pounds of ground beef
1 bag of wide egg noodles
24 oz container of Sour Cream
just enough water to cover the cubes
5 to 6 beef bullion cubes
    Yellow Mustard

Directions: Brown the ground beef. Cook the noodles.

Combine the bullion cubes and water in a bowl. Heat in the microwave to dissolve the cubes. You may have to crush the cubes with a fork to help them dissolve in the water.

Make sure the beef mixture is no longer on the heat.

Mix the bullion mixture with the ground beef and the entire container of sour cream along with the noodles. I add the mustard till i like the taste.
