I doubt it was or will ever be as successful as the double coin offer, but it did generated alot of coin purchases, which was evident with the increase wheel spin, however, it was not as busy as with the Double Coin offer.
On the first release of the silver key offer, I can safely assume that many of us bought the silver key out of curiousity, I did bought several to check what this special offer could give me.
I bought 4 keys totaling 200 coins and this is what I obtained.
2X Chest A (Freedom Medal, Justice Medal, nation Medal, Michelangelo's Script, Plowshares, Arch Saw, Quarrying Tools, blower, War ensign, Excalibur, The Wealth of Nations, Amulet)
1X Chest B ( Primary Guidelines, Intermediate Guidelines, Hero Hunting, Merchant Fleet, Plowshares, Double Saw, Quarrying Tools, Blower, Michelangelo's Script, Tax Policy, The Wealth of Nations)
1x Chest C ( Excalibur, War Horn, Corselet, Truce Agreement, War Ensign, Adv City Teleporter, Michelangelo's Script)
Looking at what I obtain with the purchased of the Silver Key offer, I noticed I received more than what I spent on Chest A. I highlighted the item of value for my style of game play. In addition I was able to spin several times from the Amulet I recieved along with the item so it was a win, win situation. Now if i were to compare that to 10 spin worth 50 coins, i would very likely have won more resources than any useful items. Considering how the wheel has been modified lately.
In my opinion, to make this Silver Key more enticing, you need another Chest offer, like a possible chest D and E, one having 1 On War and the other having a grand price of 5 On War.
This Offer will draw more focus away from the actual wheel and into the purchase of the Silver Key.
This additional Chest should only be available during the silver Key is offered.
With this suggestion, the silver Key offer could par with the double key, only way to find out is to test it.
To sum it up, this silver Key offer has great potential provided further modification is done to it.
