    Default Lol...just a quick thought

I logged on today to find that I got two warnings for the following reasons:

    1. Necroing an Old Thread without Moderator Permission - Lol...so what. If it says anything about necroing in the forum rules, please show me. You know the "Ban Someone" game? That was a long dead game drifting in the realm of Page 10 and Beyond, but I revived it. Then I revive a different thread and I get in trouble? The thread I revived was by Darwin and it had to do with a certain person's radical education philosophy. And who says there isn't somebody out there who would want to read it?

    2. Spamming - I posted something on somebody else's thread about the Bunny vs. Wolf "election." It's very heated right now, and Bunny needs support. So why not spread the word? I've looked in the forum rules and it says spamming

"includes, but is not confined, to posting threads on topics where a thread already exists, posting the same topic in multiple forums (if you have a post that encompasses two categories, make a separate post for each in the proper areas) and making non-constructive posts, especially unnecessary negative sarcastic comments (note the distinction between humor and sarcasm). Use your judgment. Spamming is definitely off limits, we don't wish to read the same thing from the same person multiple times - posts like this will be edited / deleted."

Do you see anywhere in there that spreading the word to people is against the rules, or are the mods using the infamous elastic clause?

Are the mods really dishing out warnings to make the forums a better place, or are they just trying to reach some secret quota?
