Sig Courtesy Of Sickness!
The defender is supposed to have no wall defenses?
Impossible is most likely not the right term. This looks improbable to be solved in 2 waves. But I have a 2-wave solution. I don't know how I could make you believe that this is solvable in 2 waves without asking for a 3rd party to verify the solution but if you have seen puzzles 1 & 3, they looked impossible as well.
When this has been solved and battle reports posted on the battle report section of this forum, I'll expect the forum crowd's usual failure to appreciate a great battle concept. That even highly regarded players failed or would fail to solve this puzzle. That only proves Aelphaeis points on his 'contemplation' thread. Sorry, for going off topic for a bit. I've just read that thread and couldn't help myself express the same feeling when I provided the battle reports to puzzles 1 & 3.
I'm sorry but you need to re-work on your solution. And failing to solve this puzzle doesn't mean you don't know the battle mechanics. This is truly difficult.
Clue: Find a way to clear all of the remaining warriors and archers in the 2nd wave. Then you know what to do in the first wave. Work backwards. Discover that amazing 2nd hit.

Good to know that you're working on this. No offense intended but if you don't have a good grasp of the battle mechanics, I would suggest that you avoid solving this by countless trial and error attempts on a battle calculator.
You can solve this better if you know the troop movement rules and attack priority so you can plot the positions of the troops on the battlefield.
I suggest you aim to get the solution to this. There is an awesome attack combo here.
I might be able to come up with puzzle 8 next week as I'm too busy right now and it's getting harder to come up with an ingenious scenario. I originally planned to make a series of threads with regards to trivial or significant numbers in combat (like how many balls are needed when sending a mech wave, there is more to the 4:3 ball/pult ratio) which can be converted into an advanced battle guide but then again, I'm too lazy and/or pre-occupied with other things that I had to set that aside.
Anyways, good luck.
