    Default Wth?

    Would anyone from Evony care to comment on why our server has suffered 3 updates in less than an hour?
    Captcha is back but no cure on the lag, npc's are swept twice weekly, since our "upgrade" we have suffered nothing but problems AGAIN
    Please at least do me the courtesy of replying to this, this server is in turmoil and nothing is being done to reduce it.

    Na24 is broken too

    we got this message:

    [System]: Evony Server na24 will be taken offline for daily security maintenance on 04:00:00 CST Nov 10 2011, which is due in 2 minutes 57 seconds

    But that was 2 hours ago, and no maintenance yet

    Server 153 is all weird now...it never went down for maintenance like it said it was going to

    Same on ss57. Captcha got removed with an "upgrade". Npcs are swept in every 2-3 days and 10-11 hours ago we got captcha back. Lag was bad yesterday, not sure about today though.
    (of course no warning before removing or before adding captcha again)

    Are you guys having a major laugh on ss60 in the past 3 days we have had flats cleared every day, when you clear the flats the lag is that bad you cant function the only ones able to operate are the bots, so you dont stand a chance if your trying to fill them manually.
    You put captcha on our server claiming it would stop the lag as far as I can see we get major lag every time you clear flats, half the time you cant even log into the damn server.

    The captcha doesnt work no, all the captcha serves to do is annoy folks further, this server has had major problems since the last merge almost 12 months ago,
    probably the fact they put too many players on same map, since that time Evony has not corrected one of the problems suffered and instead has served to create more problems by adding the captcha, which we were told the more you answer correctly the less you get, not true, it pops up at the most annoying moment like when your trying to defend a city or time attacks, if you dont answer correctly you get logged out.
    The lag suffered is terrible, you cant get reports, you cant get the map, I was having flats taken today with no bird flash or reports, you cant defend or attack and then to add insult to injury you get logged out and for next 3-4 hrs get "network connection error" when you try to get back in.
    Now they have taken to clearing flats daily you can imagine the frustration this is causing players, lag is always ten times worse when they clear.
    I really cant see any point in clearing the flats other than to annoy people, as soon as they are cleared the bots or flat fillers have them filled again.

    It probably gets lagged up because of all the bots panicking and filling the flats as fast as possible

    Increased is probably from all the increased in marches when they fill flats, but it really comes down to different major issues, such as bots which you see in almost every mmorg and are gonna be hard to overcome especially on a browser based game. The other big issue with flat fillers is the long march cooldown on adv, as well as significant price increase. Items need to be adjusted as a server ages, as in the beginning 90 cents 24 hour cooldown is actually pretty reasonable, but after the server ages the cooldown and price should be tweaked a little (price not much maybe 2x what a tele would be instead of 3x). Same is true for many other items that become worthless with age, reducing spending on aged servers as well.
