    Default Success

Success is subjective to your point of view. You may consider someone, or yourself, to be successful, while others might not.

    So, 2 questions.

    1. How would you measure success? Are you successful once you have a certain amount of money? Or when you marry? Or when you have kids? Or when your kids get married? Or something else?

    2. Do you consider yourself to be successful?

    So, me first.

    1. I measure success by your thoughts on a simple statement. If the statement is true for you, you are successful. The statement is this:
"There is no-one else in the world I would rather be."
I don't mean certain aspects of your life that you would rather change. For example, it would be nice to have the amour of money that Bill Gates has, but I don't want to be Bill Gates.

    2. So, through my method, I consider myself to be successful.

    What are your answers?

In my point of view, being successful means that you are or already have gotten what you've want, and continue to do so.

For me, that tends to be VERY hard, given my current position in this wretched social ladder...Therefore by my strict standards I wouldn't really be successful...But then again, I'm a perfectionist. LOL

First off: I'd LOVE to be Bill Gates!

To me, success would be doing what you love, every day. Plus, you feel pride in what you do, no matter how much you earn, family, ect. It's a bonus if you're the best or one of the best at what you do.

Still, even with my definition, I'm not even close to 'success'. Never have been...and at this point, I don't know if I ever will be.

Special Props To Don Ezio for this!

In war, victory. In peace, vigilance. In death, sacrifice.

success is crushing your enemies, driving them before you, and hearing the lamentation of their women.

I feel that success occurs when you finish your long term goals in life. Whatever they may be, if you complete the tasks that you have set out to do, you are a successful person.

Ex 1: Guy wants to grow up and make millions of dollars. He ends up becoming the CEO of some company making millions of dollars. He is successful in his view of his life.

Ex 2: Guy wants to grow up to get married, be able to have a family, and raise his kids to the best of his abilities so they can become successful in their lives. He gets married and has kids who grow up to complete their goals. He is successful in his own viewpoint.

I don't consider myself to be successful as I have not completed my goals that I have laid out for my life.

Success means completing some goal to an extent of your liking

    1. Accomplishing what they want to accomplish.

    2. Mostly, however I have a few goals that won't be accomplished in the foreseeable future like flying, turning invisible, traveling through time.

Success is a illusion that make you think
you must achieve something to feel worthy of being alive.

Don't be too STUPID, it might make you infamous...

So you don't feel that you have anything to achieve in your life?
