Long have the days been since I have walked with that title. I have learned in my exile that this place is nothing more than a circlejerk. Everyone comes and goes for the simple gesture of a mutual masturbation for that quick ego boost.

Ah. So it seems the fault was on the administration and not myself. That would explain why I could not remember what it was.

in the beginning there was off topic gloriously strewn out upon the internet layers to be flayed upon by our sacrilegious brethren, nay I shout the thorn has lost its nettle, and so it comes to pass, never to stray, lighten our load, troll another day.

But what if off topic was never "gloriously strewn?" What is off topic was a collection of fools who only wished to do foolish things and was eventually caught up in their shenanigans?

Yes, OT is dead as far as I can tell.

There are ghosts that still wander in and out (such as myself) looking for something tangible to grasp a hold of that might help anchor them and return them to the corporeal state but sadly, nothing of substance lasts very long in this fetid atmosphere of corruption and decay.

There are also the young, who have heard some stories of these terrible and turbulent spirits, who come to see if they can raise the dead (or at least give themselves a good scare in the process.

Why is this place so haunted?
It is because this was a place where many battles were fought and the casualties were too numerous to count. If you had seen what I have seen, you might begin to understand how terrible, how blood-soaked and charred these walls have become. Those who survived those wars seem to have lost the will to fight as they have seen so many good souls wasted for no useful purpose.

But seriously, those who were here have moved on. It is 100% up to the new regular forum posters to maintain this section or not. Either way makes little difference in real terms` but this used to be a section where you could find something interesting to read most times and a lot of very funny stuff as well. Now it only rates an occasional visit to see which old bones are rattling.

I find a thread about how the ot is dying yet its reached ten pages. The OT will never reach its former glory again, but its like a really old sick dog... Push it full of pill and see how long it lasts.
