    Default TheNoise!!!

So this is actually what happened. I wrote it like this so you guys can feel like you where there....needless to say it freaked me out

"Upon arriving home, I notice a sound that drawls my attention. I stop and try to hear clearer. The more I listen, the more a sense of foreboding overcomes me, like something huge is coming. The sound hits with a muffled thud that seems to shake everything down to the last molecule. Here I am standing on a gravel road with no sound besides the wind whipping threw the trees and this eerie monotonous thud. With every resonance, the world seems to expand around me; leaving me more and more irrelelant. As I shrink, the ghostly sound gets closer and I expect to see some thing ominous appear over the trees. Then at that climatic moment...the sound stops. I am instantly brought back to reality standing there sweating in the chilly wind, wondering what just happened."

The question, I ask myself, is this a warning from my subconscience trying to warn me of upcoming danger. Is there something or someone in my life trying to bring me harm.

Wait wait...it is my spidy sense acting up. Yup...I'm a superhero

Auditory hallucination is often a symptom of hearing loss.

That kind old lady stopped the rain for us.
She said it would only make us cold, and miserable, and sick.
We thanked her and hugged her and she walked away smiling warmly.
    I miss the puddles...

Like bree said, it is likely some kind of paracusia (auditory hallucination). Could be nothing or maybe something like EHS or MES. Probably nothing to worry about unless it happens very often, is serious enough to impair your day to day stuff, or if it is accompanied by serious physical symptoms. It would be worth a mention to a psychiatrist if your on any psychiatric drugs.

Yeah, but at this point in time (from what you have said) its nothing to worry about. Of course, its nice to know whats going on. That being said, Musical Ear Syndrome might be a good starting point (link in above post)
