Because being 'better' or 'good' is both subjective and varied. You can't base it only off of intelligence, because that is not the only trait with the prospect of being positive. Being kind is better than being mean. Being creative is better than being stale. Being logical is better than being irrational. But, you also have to take into account that, like I said, better is subjective. We think it is 'better' to be kind, but in some cases, as with war lords of the past or satan, they were obviously better at being mean. Originally Posted by astronomer655

but being nice isn't going to get you out of a situation such as....lets say your'e faced with how to stop an atom from splitting when hit with a particle accelerated in an atom smasher.
