Pretty sure Phoenix gets a random secondary placed as their shown secondary when they die.

NEW SECONDARY ROLES

Phoenix: When killed, you cannot vote or take any action for 3 rounds. Once the 3rd round after your death is over, you are assigned a new secondary, excluding Phoenix, and allowed to play again. *Secondary upon death is revealed as a random secondary. *NOTE* YOU CANNOT TALK WHEN THIS SECONDARY IS ACTIVE, SINCE YOU ARE TECHNICALLY DEAD.

Nevermind, I said that the main role should be hidden, but the hidden part is the secondary role so even if a mafia is killed they won't know he's back if he is auto-revived later in the game.

If their primary role is hidden, everyone will know they're phoenix though. My guess is that hiding their Phoenix role is to keep them anonymous about it.

Just a hunch from the first mobkilled member, Reasoner.

I was gambled with him first round by Jorbaud with Reasoner through the Chimera Gambler. He won and us three formed a semi-alliance as there was enough trust between someone who would gamble two non-mafia members (Only one who can be proven currently).

While it didn't occur to me for Reasoner to openly state that we were gambled in case of him dying to prove my innocence, I come now bearing this information. But, with the addition of the new role Detective, I can be proven right that I was gambled. They can use their role on me to confirm my story (at least the part of being gambled). In addition, If I was mafia I would not have killed Reasoner if I won because quite frankly, his role is not a threat to the mafia. There are better odds to hit someone like an elf or the gambler if they can rule out one person.

While it may seem that I may be mafia trying to take advantage of Reasoner's death I am telling you I am not. I am simply trying to get a jump on the game before my death as one of the "good" players.

I can confirm that I gambled Reasoner and Revo. Reasoner told me that he won and that Revo was a civilian. From that point we became an alliance.
