    Just an addition to my post, and slightly off topic but relevant to a lot of what has been said here and the general consensus of players is that it would be nice for the Evony developers to work on introducing some POSITIVE changes to actually improve game play instead of negative changes that make the game harder and less fun.

    It seems all the changes they make are along the lines of 'players can no longer do this... we have stopped players being able to do that... we have made it more difficult to do this... etc'

    Wouldn't it be nice to wake up to a mail or a forum post saying 'We have introduced this feature into game play to help players' or 'You've all been asking for this change to be made so we've listened and done it' and I'm not talking about shop items to benefit Evony's bank balance, I'm talking about real, in game features that help us to enjoy the game more. I know in a round-a-bout way you are trying to achieve this with these changes but they are not wanted, nor needed and are another addition to the ever growing 'YOU MUST NOT DO THIS ANYMORE OR WE WILL PUNISH YOU' list. I think that is perfectly obvious from reading all the posts here.

    As heathen said, every time you make changes like this the game becomes more and more like a 2nd job. It's meant to be fun, you should be encouraging players to be here and to be fighting in what can be a pretty awesome war game, not making it more and more difficult as the weeks and months pass by

    They're trying to listen. But getting comments like "they never listen, whaaaaaz!!!" won't make them or anyone want to pay attention. At least they set up a poll. I mean they could've just said forget it and let it stay the way it is and ban anyone with a different opinion but they didn't.

    Now I will agree that they should remove the patch until the figure everything out, but Thalin already said they won't. I could yell at him but that won't solve anything (cause he has the magic eraser and ban button).

    The City transfer can still be done even if there is a cool down, like skreem said it just need a 3rd party or alternate.

    Technically it does not matter how long of a cool down, how many times they apply it, or how it is applied. You can still do a city swap, move allies to invade a red or in other word paint a green around a red(s).

    I can think of many ways to go around this problem here is a hint.
    When transfering the same city it can be transfered to more than 1 or 2 players in 10 seconds or less. What this means is, a city with "0" loyalty can be captured by anyone sending the right troops and amount, up until the next attacker with higher troop than the occupying player and so on.

    Here is an example. The City at "0" loyalty and will remain that way up until someone who owns it raise it or until evony decide to apply 1 instant loyalty when any city is captured, let's cross our finger they won't.

    So now that the loyalty is not a concern, the concern now is the troop inside the city by the first occupant, easy solve, he can move those troops and if he used a crappy hero just delete it all together. You may lost those troops and hero if the city is captured before the troops reach its destination.

    Keep in mind it just complicate things a little bit when multiple players is trying to capture the same city, but with practice it becomes just as easy with just additional step.

    agreed a head start would have helped but i really bumms me because now i have to stay in an alliance and nor give heros/cities away unless i have another alliance to join so i do not get hit/killed inthe 72 hour wait so i would say the amount of alliances u can cause some ppl prest drop and stuff so it would be better that way.
    24 hours is OK but i liked the normal way

    Is this some kind of retribution for farming exploits? Been thinking, maybe you guys on the Evony team are upset because there were TWO "Exploits" to farming. Of course, could never be insider knowledge. But is not of importance.

    What is important is that EVERY time there are SILENT changes people here are begging and pleading for a COMPROMISE. I've also been thinking about the possibilty that no one on the Evony team even has an idea or reason WHY this change was made.

    This game has everything to do with cities. For both Age 1 and Age 2.

    (1) Whether a new player or a veteran, getting handed cities from other players to help progression or to reward achievements is a huge part of this game. For a new player to get developed cities to gain their interest is for the benefit of evony.

    (2) Saving Cities. In wars or just casual battles people often get booted out to check on offline members cities being attacked with the hopes of capping that city before the enemy does. As keeping a city in the alliance is better than an enemy capping it. With a 72 hour cool down, you are saying.....well, what do you think you're saying?

    (3) Heroes! Goodness gracious. Isn't Heroes also a HUGE part of the game? As same idea with cities....either the new game getting help or rewarding those who deserve it.


    Now for the other perspective (why one would want it)

    (1) Hiding. If I am in alliance A and declare war on B and someone from B goes to C to hide, then guess what? Alliance A should declare or drop from friendly alliance C. Diplomacy always changes. In Age 1 its funny when people hide. No one likes to be completely taken out. But this unfortunately falls more on the cowardice of the alliance. I really can't even try to make this seem legitimate. It happens--then declare war or tell that alliance to boot out that player. I've done this probably about 100 or so times.

    (2) To Hide?



    Back to Opening statements: I don't know how much more compromising you can expect. Evony is about being a "Lord" of an "Empire" and being exiled for 3 days just to get some help is very discouraging. Perhaps this is retribution for farming exploits, or perhaps this is another means of catching alt accounts? But if the latter, why shut this game off from new players coming in for the first time?

    Strongly urge the Evony team to really rethink this "fix." Time limits are severing players from their alliance family and a hard limit still wouldn't solve the issue, wouldn't it?

    Because even with your proposal of 3 times a day, someone could jump 3 times to a "friendly" alliance to not be hit. As if this is really happening that much to force everyone into this situation?

    lol since i dont have an instant wall hero i dont mind this 72 hrs thing

    i was hitting a guy other day gave him 200 mill honor in total he got out and in like 10 time in 1 hr and got rid of it lol

    plus he was truced during the truce cooldown and he even came out before 12 hr were over fo truce and he was kept on doing that and no i t was not dream truce i believe he has hacked evony lol true
