Group attacking is one of the greatest things this game had before greed and egotism set in. Planned attacks on enemy alliances was great fun sometimes it paid off other times it was a fail but at least fun was had by all. Now rather than it being a team alliances just gather players for prestige and those players gather alts to build alt alliances to feed their mains in the hope of decorating themselves in glory. In short throwing stupid amount of troops at a target and spending millions breaking a city with less than 1 million troops to declare themselves the winner. I truly find this hilarious.
My old alliance I tried instill the old fashioned way of thinking and believe it or not it worked. We may not have been able to conquer the biggest alliances on the server (this was 84 before it merged) but it was all about fun. Now it's about greedily gathering resources to maybe build a large enough army to maybe go to war with. Evony is Farmville with troops, there is no friendship and fun in it anymore.
My opinion on this whole thing is simply this; you all hate these unpopular initiatives but they were introduced to try to get players to follow the ToS. Yep there are flaws in each and every single one. You want it all to stop, here's a novel idea we need to ALL stop account sharing, botting and play with one account per server each, then we'll be playing the way Evony intended.
