How would you survive a zombie apocalypse?

I played Dead Island when it came out. It was awesome, but I found machetes and swords to be the best weapon. There is nothing like beheading a zombie with one swing. Plus there is never the problem of running out of ammo.
In the city I'm in there is an old underground prison which is no longer used, and the entrance is well hidden in an unassuming place. That would be a good place to hide, though there is also some place a lot closer to my house where I know there to be hundreds of guns, and a few tanks stored. The only problem there is that the place is hard to get into unless someone lets you in. And even then the vault which I probably wouldn't be able to get into is hidden... behind a curtain, There are also several markets within a few minutes drive from where I am, so I suppose it would be quite relaxing to take my new tank for a spin to the supermarket.

Highest building i can find , bring hundreds to the top floor , have a helicopter on the roof , guard every entrance , have a form of communication and have people manning every floor to 10 floors down , fight them as they advance , have snipers on the roof to take out on-coming zombies that are trying to get into the building and if any get in wait and then kill them , periodically fly for resources and oil , and make sure there is a bar.

My friends and I have had several serius discussi0ns ab0ut this and we think we've c0me up with a decent plan. y0u pref0rm a c0ntingency gr0up fr0m n0w (just in case, we already have). The gr0up has t0 c0nsist 0f the leader, s0me0ne in the military with military/tactical experience, a c0p, a medical d0ct0r, and m0re w0men then men (s0 we can repr0duce the wh0le w0rld when it's 0ver) The c0p in the meantime and the military man have been st0ckpiling weap0ns f0r this, and the d0ct0r medicines and supplies. The sec0nd we hear w0rd 0f a change, we head f0r the nearest c0sc0. We h0ld it up and kick every0ne 0ut, make sure it is t0tally empty and refuse t0 c0me 0ut. c0sc0 has it's 0wn electrical generat0r-it als0 has t0ns 0f n0nperishable f00d and b0ttled water. They als0 have bedding and enetertainment as well as t0iletries and s0 0n. In c0sc0 (at least hte 0ne by us) there are 0nly 2 entrances and they cl0se with s0lid metal d00rs and l0cks and chains. als0 the r00f is very high and imp0ssible t0 get t0 unless u are inside the building. u p0st 2 guards wh0 take 8 h0u r shifts t0 make sure n0thing fish is g0ing 0n 0n a daily basis. We are still w0rking 0n this plan
