I love the McDonald's analogy!

Seriously, IF I told you once you reach level 10 in everything that you would have to quit, because there is NOTHING to do except attack extremely lower level players, then you wouldn't be so gung-ho to get to level 10. I was expecting to be warring with other fellow high level players after I got to the top.

In fact, the early stages of the game were quite fun to build, and early battles were fun, because you COULD attack and you COULD be defeated.

WHY they ignore the fact that once a player gets to level 10, he can either quit or go crush lower level players, I don't know. A guy like me is more likely to SPEND MONEY teleporting his city around, upgrading attack heroes, buying temporary war upgrades than anybody else, because I've already invested a month of building my cities up, and don't want to quit. In fact, initially, I did spend money to teleport a city a few times, and get into some good battles, but then, enough time passed, and all "good/worthy" players to attack had the minimum defense to make themselves "attack proof".

BUT, when there is NO point to spending money now, and ALL management continues to do is NERF barbarians (why? do these NPC's really mean this much to you?), NOT talk about it, and continue to take this course of "dis-repair" to a game, then it is ruined.

Also, I'm sad about that. I see nothing but dead lands full of 200k-400k prestige players who obviously aren't logging in (prestige hasn't changed in a week for most of them). That means, death. I COULD go take all their resources, but really, that's like raiding a ghost town and having nowhere to spend the loot.

Being the only player left is maybe fun for a day? Two days? At some point, the damage has to be acknowledged, addressed, corrected? But, what has happened to date to give me ANY indication it will???

I've read of plenty of online games that came to a crashing end along with plenty of companies to run into the same fate: poor management.

Is there a job opening somewhere for someone to show you guys what you are doing wrong? Has someone at least been fired for perhaps 2 weeks of the worst management I've seen?
