    Not to beat an old subject to death, but I dont personally like the 24 hour cooldown period on rejoining alliances.

    The biggest issue is that it hinders inter-alliance city transfers.

    There are three very legitimate reasons for city transfers that come to mind...

    1) Someone in the alliance has a powerful political hero and is willing to use his time to help build up a city for a weaker member.

    2) Someone in the alliance is leaving the game and no longer needs their cities.

    3) Someone in the alliance is getting hammered and you want to prevent a "Red" from taking the city

    These needs can ALL be easily addressed by one simple change in the game - allow players to attack fellow alliance members and even friendly alliances.

    Think about the ramifications....

    No more need to drop out of alliance.

    No more enemies switching sides after they have been beaten down to hide behind a blue alliance.

    As I understand it, the alliance cooldown was put into place to prevent gamesmanship that violated the TOS. I think that this change could be implemented to restore a certain balance to the gameplay.

    If this did occur there would have to be a warning or 2 informing you that the attack will hit an alliance mate or friendly alliance.

    Alliance is for being friends AND NOT KILL EACH OTHER

    simple and such if u attack your friends its pointless but if this would happene i would like to add a thing


    The 2 Alliance people attacking or defending say hat they are willing to be attacked by like a tab thing

    I actually feel this is an awesome idea, and evony should really consider this. Another benefit of action like this would be the ability to open up flats held by either alliance mates or blues.

    I don't see the cooldown being huge prob at moment but will say I has and will be the reason for a lot more alts in the game

    The only problem I see with this idea, is what if an alliance that really has hostile intentions tricks another alliance into going friendly status with them.

    Then they can move in the state and just say that they are there for whatever reason, then when they know that said alliance is comfortable with them there, boom.

    They hit them all at once and swarm them and is causes chaos within the alliance being hit and its not fair to them. As Angel said, Friendly status is for just that, being friendly, but you gotta see both sides of the fence here, and while it could be a good idea, people would definitely abuse this.

    Just my thoughts on it.

    Very valid thought, but personally i know alliances who do this already, they go blue with people, only to use it as an opportunity to easily slip into their states, then flip on them

    What's the point of alliances anyway? Let's get rid of them completely, and allow people to attack and reinforce anyone they please! That way, everyone on the server can simply send all their resources to me! Yeah! I'm liking that idea!
