The biggest issue is that it hinders inter-alliance city transfers.

There are three very legitimate reasons for city transfers that come to mind...

1) Someone in the alliance has a powerful political hero and is willing to use his time to help build up a city for a weaker member.

2) Someone in the alliance is leaving the game and no longer needs their cities.

3) Someone in the alliance is getting hammered and you want to prevent a "Red" from taking the city

These needs can ALL be easily addressed by one simple change in the game - allow players to attack fellow alliance members and even friendly alliances.

Think about the ramifications....

No more need to drop out of alliance.

No more enemies switching sides after they have been beaten down to hide behind a blue alliance.

As I understand it, the alliance cooldown was put into place to prevent gamesmanship that violated the TOS. I think that this change could be implemented to restore a certain balance to the gameplay.


Allowing alliance members to attack each other is not a good idea. It may lead to bullying of other alliance members. If you are being helped(which is not really supposed to happen because if Evony wanted to give you a top hero, they already would have. Honestly, I do not agree with you on that change. However, I do agree on the thing about not being able to rejoin the alliance for 24 hours...How about making it 4 hours?
