Thread: Simple fix for alliance re-join cooldown

    I like the idea actually, only with the idea of having both parties have to accept the friendly fire. Have it as a check box even just like the embassy, if you don't have it checked you can not get reinforcements, same could apply if it's not checked you can not take friendly fire from anyone. Kudos

    i had tried to stay away from this thread but now i'm gonna chime in
    if you play the game, you already know the fix for the fix

    i'm not gonna talk about it here because discussions regarding good tactics are often misinterpreted as players exploiting the quirks that are inherent to any computer game

    soooooooo, if you play, you already know that the cooldown is a fail
    mainly because the reason for the cooldown was dreamt up by people that don't know that part of playing is giving cities and heroes to your alliance mates in order to benefit the alliance and maintaining a strong alliance when individuals' RL circumstances change

    that is all

    Yeah. it sux.
    It is just terrible that a great function works the same way as an exploit.
    At the same time i hate to see most of the alliance member using the same hero to defend and train troops.

    Personally i d'ont mind the 24hrs cool down, the only thing i do minne is when you quit an alliance by your self it takes 10% off, they should maybe lower it to 5% because sometimes ppl d'ont booted you when you want to wich sucks very much, sadly

    As it is, this is a 24 hr game. Some of us do enjoy sleep and have real life commitments. Being surrounded by people that can attack at any time for any reason wouldnt exactly inspire people to stick around. There is a reason why alliances claim states. If this game ended when you logged out, perhaps it would be fun to be able to attack at any given time. However, people have invested a lot of time and money into acts and heros. I dont see how it would create any balance.

    So go sit in your nearest friendly alliances alliance for 24 hours after you have done what you needed to do regarding the cities, you offer them the same courtesey and the cooldown period make little reall difference.
