Actually there was success, CIA and DIA records prove that. What failed was the Vietmanization of the South's Army. Because of the foibles of language translation, the South could not totally comprehend the tech manuals of the equipment, vis a vis the huey gunship, as the most prominent case, translation into the Vietmanese language. Also, if you give cause to study, when the US pulled out, it left with an agreement to pay back the north for bomb damage, that debt was never paid, it also left with the promise to go back should any hostilities re-arise. The Mayaquez incident should of prompted the US back into the fray, however Prez Ford, declined to engage. Broken promises becomes cowards. just saying. so again we have a loose mind, who needs to go back and study history, before making statements that make them look ... silly, as if they know not what it is they speak of.

My dad was deployed in the central highlands in Pleiku, Kontum, and Dak To in 68 to 69, just on the cusp of the Tet, so I tend to read and watch a lot about Vietnam.... which in-turn made me start reading/watching about other wars.

In June 1950 , South Korea surprised North Korea and advanced upwards , and into China , North Korea , simply said screw this , flipped the way the whole war was going , North Korea had one main city left , but still managed to take the whole peninsula , Until the U.S intervened and put the peninsula back to where it started.

Thus , South Korea had North Korea in the palm of it's hands , but just with a simple mindset change , North Korea annialated the South , and without the help of the US there would be no South and North Korea.

Wait when US joined SK, they pushed the border to nearly the end. Sure SK/US had them in their palms, and the lands would be the democratic SK if CHINA hadnt intervened.

Incorrect , The U.S Only intervened after NK took back SK , they purposely stayed back until then due to the U.S's policy to sit back until communism threatened to spread , Although China did have part of NK's fightback this was only because SK ventured into China , And the US , only intervened when NK took SK because of the spread of communism. Also it wasn't nearly the end SK indefinitely went towards and into China , which was ultimately their downfall.

NK to SK first.. then US intervened and took most of SK back and NK, but then China felt threatened and intervened on NK's behalf, causing the never ending war and forcing the war to end in an armistice.

Germany VS France (France has the bigger army and the nuclear power due to Germany's army limits, Germany has the bigger economy and more capability to build nukes)
Germany by far due to the fact France has fallen since the napoleonic age and dont have a huge military presence now.

USA VS China (without nuclear bombs)
USA they have the best everything and are most tactical

China VS Russia (nuclear bombs in)
Russia china has many people but many are incompitant no offence to chinese but that is why jobs are cheap there

South Korea VS North Korea
North Korea because everyone would butt in

Spain VS Mexico
Spain the instablility due to the drug cartels ruins the National army there

Japan VS South Korea
Japan they are much like the U.S and South Korea has its northern enimies to deal with

Israel VS Egypt
Israel they have one of the greatest airforces and armies in the world

Britain VS India
Britain india is very religous are many are pacifist

Switzerland VS Belgium (if that happened)
Belgium they manufacture some of the best weapons in the world

Pakistan VS India
Would be more of a terrorist attack than a war

Turkey VS Iran
Iran due to the fact that Turkey isnt very strong militarily

France is still a top 10 army, one of the countries allowed to have Nukes as well as being in the Security Council. and yes, they have a pretty good presence in terms of military.
