    Default Alliance invite glitch

Something weird is going on in ss50, several times now, i have heard its not just one alliance, people have somehow joined alliances without an invite, there was a thread from awhile ago about this happening, but it is closed http://bbs.evony.com/showthread.php?t=115021

Someone joined a top alliance and reinforced someone with 1 million troops (mostly catapults), was booted once the alliance saw an enemy in the alliance then sent 1 attack and killed alot, didn't win, but alot of troops were lost. I heard of it happening to another smaller alliance today.

It needs to be fixed and the people doing it needs some kind of consequence for their cheating.

The 'forced entry' is a glitch made possible by bots.
It's hardly new - and it can be prevented in various ways.

However, that alone wouldn't have prevented this player from being nuked.
Others have been similarly nuked on other servers - and it had little to do with the use of third-party software to gain entry into the alliance.
It's not uncommon for rogue officers to allow certain enemies in for some quick work.

    Prudence begins with disallowing reinforcements.
For instance, this player was neither in need of reinforcements nor would have been in need anytime soon.

And given that, today, a range of instant communication methods ranging from Skype and Whatsapp to plain texting and plain email is available, a closed embassy sounds more prudent than ever before.

Um, he does... but there's at least two players I know with over 400m scouts, 15m ballistae, 10m catapults, 70m archers, 21m cavalry, 15m cataphracts and 40m transporters

As Karna said. The entry is allowed by bots, most commonly by their alts in the alliance. The user doesn't need to have any position but can accept (not invite unless its a really old bot) players into the alliance. The thing is the offenders name shows up (or should do) in the alliance events.

I know this was a problem that was patched up in newer versions of bots because Evony hadn't reinforced this at a server level but it's still open on older versions. Just catch the people letting them in and you're sorted. Nobody, not even with a bot, can just walk into any alliance they wish.
