It's obvious that this next stage has something to do with wave frequencies
Uggg ur kidding me right? Really hates space themed games....just nasty
In the initial picture we see the sun rising with Aether-1, so we can only assume that it references a new age of evony starting, an age 3. However, everyone seems to be touching on fact it shows space, or even part of the aether dynamic of it referencing space. But, Aether also was historically used in science.
The initial picture showed a planet with the sun rising along with Aether-1 shown and www.evony.com on the bottom. The 1st clue they posted was of a man with a beard and people in the background, along with a blue url http://bit.ly/aether-1-1. Upon entering that url you were brought to a puzzle to solve with showed the Mir space station emblem.
During its mission the Mir served as a microgravity research laboratory in which crews conducted experiments in biology, human biology, physics, astronomy, meteorology and spacecraft systems in order to develop technologies required for the permanent occupation of space.
Now Aether, while it does reference mythology it also is a concept, historically, used in science (as a medium) and in philosophy (as a substance) While there were also, Aether theories in alchemy, natural philosophy, and very early modern physics which suppose a "fifth element"
So taking those both, the Mir conducted experiments in physics, so utilizing that scenario, aether theories in early physics as stated above, supposes a "fifth element"
But, the text below the initial clue, stated looking to the past for the future, so in this statement along with the clues we can only assume that the past in this case is early evolution into physics wherein, aether is a proposal of the existence of a medium, the aether (also spelled ether, from the Greek word (αἰθήρ), meaning "upper air" or "pure, fresh air"[1]), a space-filling substance or field, thought to be necessary as a transmission medium for the propagation of electromagnetic waves. The assorted aether theories embody the various conceptions of this "medium" and "substance" or "fifth element"
First proposed in the 19th century which considered aether to be a physical medium occupying every point in space, thus permeating also all material bodies. A second essential feature is that the properties of the aether give rise to electric and magnetic phenomena and determine the propagation velocity of their effects. Thus the speed of light and all other propagating effects are determined by the physical properties of the aether at the relevant location. This is analogous to the way that gaseous, liquid and solid media affect the propagation of sound waves. The aether is considered the overall reference frame for the universe and thus velocities are all absolute relative to its rest frame. Therefore, in this view, any physical consequences of those velocities are considered as having an absolute, i.e., real, effect.
While, Quantum mechanics can be used to describe spacetime as being "bitty" at extremely small scales, fluctuating and generating particle pairs that appear and disappear incredibly quickly. Instead of being "smooth", the vacuum is described as looking like "quantum foam". It has been suggested that this seething mass of virtual particles may be the equivalent in modern physics of a particulate aether.
And yes much of this is quoted directed from multiple sources, so leave the comments that someone knows how to google and other crap be. Your premature, childish comments only prove to everyone that you're an idiot inept at carrying on an actual conversation that doesnt' include bodily functions and the pulling of your finger
The original, one and only Ryukasai, any other by this name is an immitation, a fake, you can steal the name but that doesn't mean you can be that "ONE"
Something else I can waste money on for bad service? Cool.

My theory/Wish....and why I think it.
Once the top 10 alliances are developed, and Atlantis is taken, a server basically becomes "stale" (In my opinion) At this point in the servers "life" it is very difficult for smaller players to grow and the alliance wars become a stalemate. This is the point at which players start leaving the game and/or going to different servers. How do you change this, extend the life of the server???
Here's one way...
The primary early game goal is to take Atlantis. Keep that goal but enhance it's reward. Once you capture Atlantis you can start to build pieces that when put together (clue #1 Alexey Pajitnou (Tetris creator)) create the compnents needed to build a space station (clue #2 Mir) once built you have the ability to load up and launch that city/space station (clue #3 launching castle end of Tetris) into space. Esencially starting over again, BUT with 1 city in space, 9 on earth.
In the space station you start new research (life support, lasers on ships, armor on ships etc) But your limited to that one city in space, unless you recapture Atlantis again and relaunch it.
Now to keep the game interesting... Once the space station is launched Atlantis randomly ports to a new location on earth. Reason for this, because to take Atlantis you have to port many cities around it to get waves there to take it, and then to protect it. By randomly moving it after launch it allows it to be open again. (lets be honest. Evony would love people buying ports to take Atlantis over and over again)
Add in another thing. To prevent a player from "sitting" on Atlantis, not allowing people to launch....
Make it timed....
Player must build compnents needed for space station in a specific amount of time. If not, Atlantis "launches" without them and there left with a plain city.
So on earth the goals are two tierd, global domination via war and/or launching into space (sound like a familiar game to anybody???)
To touch on players that have launched there are many ways to play this.
1) Same server, but 2 platforms of play. Play on earth and in space. But the 2 platforms work independantly (Only Atlantis has launching or space transporting capabilities) and still only allow a max of 10 cities
2) Once Atlantis is launched player is granted access to a seperate server where its solely space based and only those that have launched Atlantis are given access.
Now lets look at what we've accomplished... Bigger/Better players should always want to go to the next level, which would be space.
With these players going there it will allow smaller players to grow and not become farms for bigger players. In turn small new players not running away from the game as fast.
And most importantly (for evony) MONEY
At each launch Atlantis ports randomly and is a fresh NPC again. So everybody will have to port to it again. And those ports cost money, which evony loves.
Now I'm sure this all may be a stretch, and maybe not even possible, and sure there's tons of questions about it.
But its a thought
And even if this isn't Evonys plan, maybe somebody else will see it and like the idea.
I think this will help create some balance in the game (with option 1 anyway) The bigger players will have to worry about their space city as well as their world city. Smaller players will be able to have focus on earth cities with the advatage over big players beacuse they'll have 10 cities on earth while bigger players will be moving their cities to space, Also allowing smaller players to build, learn, and grow. One day moving to the space part of the game.
Just my thoughts

could this have something to do with this whole business?
