    Open the bandwidth, installer larger capacity servers.. Newsflash, ALOT of your die hard coiners (AKA YOUR CUSTOMERS) are tired or this.. You dont want to make money, thats cool, we will take our business elsewhere.. Remove CAPTCHA and find another solution, before ur revenue source LEAVES..

    Cant be anymore forward then that.. Your competition, will eventually get the money you should have! Wake up

    A question to evony. Do you feel that coiners will remain to play the game when their very competition has its head cut off every time it comes close to becoming competitive? How long do you think a non-coiner will invest his time into a blatant practice in futility? Who will the coiner kill when his competition tires of its constant discrimination? Botting is the non-coiners answer to the ungodly advantage of coining. Egos do not care what is legal or what is right, only what works. Your players are highly competitive. Players will bot to try to bridge the difference between coiners and non-coiners. Captcha is yet another slap in the face to the non-coining group. Captcha does not hurt coining botters on functionality. It ONLY hurts non-coining botters. It sends food markets through the roof because coining botters don't care about farming, they just want to kill to get their food from players (who cant farm enough to keep them fed). Lumber & iron go through the floor, and most players move to another server (except the select few decaptcha subscribed players who get captcha'd every 5-10 minutes for actually playing the game -the more captchas the better for that stock in the decaptcha service right?-, and those that don't play enough to even notice a captcha.) You're not solving your problem. You're moving it to a different server. In the meantime you are ruining the games of people who have spent a lot of time and in some cases a lot of money for that game. How long will players keep moving from server to server in vain attempts at greatness before they begin to realize you will never let them attain it? You of course know this but are stuck between a rock and a hard place. How do you provide the service demanded while maintaining the coiners motive for coining in the first place? My only idea is a sql engine if you don't have one already. In either case, I sincerely hope you are able to meet the demand for those who still have hope in this game. As for me, I'm lacking in that right now.

    Servers: 119+ Only playing 157-160 at the moment.

    So it sounds to be that (1) they are aware there is an issue, and (2) they are working on it. So what's the purpose of this thread? Just to rage about it?
    You seem to lack the knowledge of true customer service.... so does evony as a whole so i don't blame ya. We are your customers, WE pay YOU. When dealing with a customer complaint you greet them with a compliment or gratitude. You assess the problem and provide them with steps (if possible) that you will be taking to fix this problem. You then end with some sort of compensation (if the situation calls for it) and/or reassurance of a follow-up in the nearby future. Customer service 101, not hard, its fast and effective. You DO NOT put blame on your customer or discourage them to make further comments on your product/service.... Plenty of do nots to list, I've only ever recieved 1 good reply from an evony representative that followed the above steps....

    Dude this isn't AT&T...Evony doesn't have to do a thing to make us happy cause you and I both know more people will come play this game when all you complainers leave.

    Most posters here are missing the point of lag, bots, captchas and poor support. This is the business model of evony.

    1. evony is a highly addictive game.
    2. lag is an important tool for evony. When a server starts, people spend money to get ahead quickly. As more players join and become active, the lag begins. As the lag becomes unbearable, a new server starts. If a server has a history of high spending, they introduce captchas to induce players to leave for the new server (to spend money there to get ahead).
    3. evony isn't concerned about bots, in fact they count on them. bots give them a scapegoat for inserting captchas.
    4. evony doesn't care at all about how much you whine or gripe. They know that a large majority of players will simply move to the new server so that the cycle of spending can repeat itself.

    this is all true but i think they will be hurting from this one now that people are catching on. I have a feeling if everyone on this server does a charge back like they say they are going to then evony wont be around for much longer. Will probably just start a new game with a different name though

    well why not Make a Whole Big Website About how much 160 sux.. there are about 20 different threads on this one subject.. TAKE IT ELSWHERE... stop $crewing it up for the rest of uss.. i mean seriously.. i know it is a big issue atm but that doesn mean u need to tell us all about it ALL the time..

    Why do a game tolerate people using 3rd party software to this extend. I never experience a game that contain so much BOTER

    Listen,
    I really didn't make this thread to complain or 'rage' about captcha. I am just sincerely dissapointed in the complete lack of customer service. The moderators talk of just using helpspot to report problems. I and many others have used this no avail.

    Evony you created a wonderful game that kept me and others entertained for years. For that I thank you. It is just a shame you couldn't pay more attention to upgrading properly or your customer's complaints.

    And to the previous poster who stated more will play after us 'complainers quit; You are absolutely corect. Unfortunatley those players will experience the same lack of professionalism and customer service we have.
