Khalee is right, putting this into practice is hard, specially now that the bots rule the world. But knowing why it works helps you understand simple things like the fact that by adding thicker scout layer when the defender still got rolling logs, the logs wont take out the scout layer. Or if the defender has that 1 catapult, that you thicken your layers so that the 1 pult cant take out an attacking layer in 1 round. These are things Jaq never explained, so claiming he invented something he couldnt explain, makes it all seem like a copy of a hit he saw in War Reports.

As for scout bombs, its not a hard thing to figure out. Any noob early on in the game will try to send unlayered attacks of any troop type.
Say what you want about Jaq not interpreting the results correctly, but I think what happened was people just played around with setups until they found something that worked and then forged a hypothesis as to why it worked the way it did, flying cav anyone?

Just from his item drop guide alone I will say that Jaq was a smart player that knew the mechanics of the game better than most while he played. Who knows what he would have come up with if he was still around today ...
