For one reason or another, I've stumbled upon the Evony forums again. How are things going? What's the talk of the town? Are there any old posters still around? How's the community in general? Not too much is going on, really. People have come and go -- mostly go -- but overall, it retains a lot of the atmosphere as it did when you were last around. As for me, I'm in and out, but mostly out as I've been busy with the Navy, my 21st birthday coming up tomorrow, and the like.

If you stick around, it'll be nice to have someone with a sense of humor hanging around again. If not, it's still nice to see you alive and possibly well.

I think it is more because once you start posting online you begin to view others not as individual beings, but just random things that you could never truly understand, or desire to.

I remember seeing it in a cartoon when I was young-er one of the main characters spotted a vulture sitting in a tree and diving down to catch some food. So the boy climbed a tree and tried to do the same... eventually his grandfather who was a sage turned the tree into a cactus while the boy was up there and he had to walk round with prickles in his feet for the rest of the episode. I can't remember exactly what it was but I think it may have been Gogs or another show very similar...
