    Default Incorrect heal rate?

    My message to evony:
    Hi, today I today I done a 'trojan' attack on a player, which is basically when you reinforce a player, leave the alliance, then attack so the reinforced troops attack. Below are the screenshots of the attack (I didn't get a report on the hit shockingly).

    I hit this city with 764k ballista and 155k catapult and I should have recieved 65% heals and he should have received 10/13%. However I only healed back 23.7k ballista and 4.18k catapults (about 3.2% heals). This is absolutely shocking and I am very upset about it. Do you know how long it will take for me to rebuild these troops?

    Also, the person I was attacking should have recieved 10% heals however he recieved more than this as seen from the screenshots below.

    I am wondering what you are going to do about this. It's no wonder that a lot of people get angry with this game after the ammount of time people spend on it for stuff like this to happen.

    Whats your views on this? it's part or the game? no way..

    I personally am very annoyed at the reply as it takes so long to build that amount of troops to be screwed over by evony yet again.

    How can they possibly say a 3.2% heal is acceptable and is not a glitch. There are so many glitches in this game still and they are failing to accept it and coming up with b/s.

    And how long after you got hit did you heal?

    I turned autoheal off due to the amount of gold autoheal would have used. It was about 20mins after the hit that I realised.

    I have not got my attack report on it as I deleted it before I noticed this had happened. I didn't get a battle report anyways.

    If you lose any troops that adds up to over 2.1b exp value you get zero heal for them..

    So.. Anything over the draftproof amount..

    Example..

    214k + lista
    74k + pults
    etc etc

    The tiny heal you got was from the achievement buffs heal.

    Atlest you got a heal.. Do this on age1 and its ZERO heal

    Its a major bug but Evony will argue till there blue in the face its not. However as you used an exploit + spy tactic I have no sympathy for you as you got exactly what you deserved for using the trojan and joining an alliance under false pretenses to do it.

    Did you read what I just wrote? And who are you to decide whats a bug or glitch?

    Its the way the game has been designed and its been this way for 3 years, Its probably a good time to accept thats the game we play or stop playing it.

    I used to be just as bitter as you, Until it was all explained to me.

    Its all perfectly explainable, And if people spent less time complaining and more time thinking these things you call glitches would not effect you.
    If its not a bug then by all means explain the design rationale of having waves over a number which just happens to be a maximum value in hexcode for a certain number of characters cause a 0 base heal. A number which allso happens to cause the draftproof glitch. Unless you intend to argue draftproof is allso not a bug and in that case I'm wasting my time.

    Its not a glitch because the people who designed the game have said its not a glitch..

    Obviously they have known about this since age1, And still made Age2 the same way.

    So your explanation is that you don't actually have one and are just going to parrot what Evony said even though the behavior makes 0 sense from a design perspective. Note that while They claim its not a bug they allso have never offered any explanation for why it was "implemented". Its caused by a rollover of the troop value going beyond what it was suppoused to be able to. You get a negative value at that point and this results in the game thinking the attacker lost nothing and therefore you get no heal but achievments. Further evidence is that you allso lose no honor on your wave even though it should lose many millions depending on what was killed.

    The various issues raised in the OP have already been covered in several separate threads.

    1. Mechanics heal rate - when your attacking wave hits draft proof numbers, your heal rate drops to 0 and you only get healed to the equivalent of what your heal buffs are.

    2. Trojans have been subject to discussion on how to stop this from happening (hence the 24hour alliance move cooldown).


    You don't also state what defences there were in the city and from the screen shots, simply putting masses of mechanics in a city is not guaranteed to wipe out everything that city has. What layers did you use, what layers did the defender have, what techs / stars are in play and what wall defences were there?

    IMHO you've been very naive in thinking your masses of pults and ballis will take out the city in full. I see from the reports, 2.9mil archers, 1.2mil swords plus Ballis, Pults, Rams and importantly - 29 fracts. Given the additional range bonus from the wall defences and the fract keeping your incoming units outside your own attacking range - i'd suggest you've not fully thought the hit through.
