Its frustrating that will all the issues that are going on that have never been addressed - server lag, players that leave, issues with game mechanics, fair play etc.

That the highly touted A word ends up being a distraction which does nothing to solidify player loyalty or address the problems.

Our server SS56 is essentially unplayable most of the time. Help tickets get filed and the response is to clear the cache and cookies and please fill out this survey on how well we did . . .

I've bought a few packages over the last few days, double coin was tempting. I've got enough coin to holiday for a while. To contemplate options about whether or not to continue forward.

It's difficult to continue to care when you realize that the players care more about keeping the game alive and going than those who own it and create it. When the developers priorities are more about publicity stunts than in improving game play or conditions. I've spent a lot of years in a retail environment. I've worked on a sales floor and eventually moved through the organization until I am spending time behind a desk, I know from all these years of working on customer service that the customer is not always right. But I also know that you do need to listen to their concerns and address them. Not respond with a form letter to each and every complaint. And denying that their is an issue is insulting to both the player and the company.

I've spent the last 17 minutes trying to log into SS56, I've been watching a spinning globe during that time. I am sure that if I file a help ticket, I will get the standard response. I am equally sure that one more player leaving is of little consequence to the ones that create the game.

We've tried to care, a lot of people have contributed over time to the forum all believing that we were a community and helping each other keep it strong. Many of those have gone on to other games, other past times. They have found games where rules are enforced, where customer service is not just a pair of annoying words and there is a genuine desire to provide a quality product and gaming experience.

I agree with that assessment. When i started 3 years ago, the game was fun. Lots of people involved. Lots of little battles, chat, planning. Now it's all botting and alt accounts. In a 100 member alliance there might be 10 real players, or 20. that's it. Many alliances are feeder accounts to other alliances.

One server I was on had an alliance of 100, all 10 cities. 99 were alts feeding the one player - so he could have a war city with 30 million troops. Now tell me what fun that is for the average player, when a lot of alliances don't have that many troops combined.

Evony has let it get out of hand, and allowed the game to turn into something it was never inteneded to be. There are dozens of solutions to the problem, they choose to implement none of them.

Sadly, they could make the change starting with server 165 and up, and anyone wanting the "old rules" could stay on the current servers and be just fine. I gave it all up a few weeks back, because I got tired of being one of a handful of active players, and if you attacked someone, they would attack back with their 11 alt accounts.

wow you really are a useless troll

ppl have a right to be annoyed, theres been little to know improvements or mergers in the game for nearly a year, then this thing is hyped up as perhaps some major change, and it turns out to be nothing more than a publicity stunt and a few useless items

and to top it all, after 2 months since it was announced for may 6th, its now 4 days late

personally id low hopes from the begin so im not that dissappointed. but i get why ppl are mad, and stupid posts fromk you do nothing to help the situation in any way

Those of us who have been around for a while realized within the first page of "clue #1" that the whole thing was going to be a pointless exercise.

I can understand why you are angry for being led around like a bull with a nose ring.

My point is... chalk it up as a learning experience, and move on, rather than continuing to obsess over this (non) issue because it isn't, nor is it ever going to be, anything worth getting excited over.... so why waste your time?

Enough time has elapsed so the A word can be updated to the B word now
