But I have to agree with BOTH Alusair & the OP. Yes, even though the Social Groups were never that active to begin with, they're still not as active as they used to be...

To be fair, the forum ITSELF has stopped being as active. We've lost a LOT of good people along the way *sniff*

That's true. Though I gotta say that a whole lot of the reason behind this has been caused by moderators and their endless need to ban active posters. Yes, some crap has been posted by active members at times, but come on.. When they post mostly good on topic stuff, banning them will only help evony kill this forum and take it even more away from the game.

It could be just as easy for them to stop posting crap and behave, so I don't see why we should be the only ones to blame. Maturity and self-control can go a long way in more things than just posting on a forum.

If the stuff in bold were even remotely true about anyone who's been banned, then I would see your point. However, it's not. Not at all.

Evony says 'Here are the rules'. If you don't abide by them you get an warning/infraction. If you continue, you get more until you're suspended. The cycle continues until you're banned. It's really quite simple.

What you can take away from this is that banned members, were not 'one-time' offenders, or even 'occasional' or 'at times' offenders. They were consistently breaking the rules. As such they are deemed unworthy/unwanted and banned. Pretty fair and straightforward arrangement if you ask me.
