I remember when I sent at Atlantis with my alliance and in the mail with times I got, remember to truce at the bottom. It was plainly written, it had been repeated. TRUCE AFTER SENDING. Being the badarse Age 1 guy I am, I wanted to keep farming. I've never felt like such a noob in gaming ever with what happened. Now, Age 1 players would be shrugging right now going so what? Age 2 players would be giggling. They're a tricky bunch with some tricky items. The point is though, unless you are a super spender, you won't stop me once I finally get traction. My heroes aren't traceable, you can't buy a mirror for them. They could be anywhere, they don't have a finite source of energy - I think :P
Some would rise and many would fall, but I think it would be an Age 1 player that would come out on top. I just think that Age 1 players have a better sense of battle mechanics and have the bonus of not having to rely on items to dominate an opponent.
i see a lot of mention of stratagems and items by age 1 players stating this is our main advantage, they are not, in fact theyre useless in toe to toe battles really if your enemy is smart.

it is the life bonuses that would defeat ye, you think a 2k attack hero is that effective against a hero with a 3.2% life bonus and if we wished an uprise buff adding 50% to the troops damage reduction?

well i can tell you it is not. it is the starset bonuses and our lack of upkeep that are our main strength and would result in your demise late game

early game im not sure, how fast does it take a decent age 1 player to get 100k archers up and running after server starts?
